Why I started Willow...

My path to becoming an Enrolled Agent wasn't a straight line. Looking back, it has become one of my greatest strengths. 

Before entering the tax profession, I owned and operated my own business. I experienced the excitement of building something from the ground up, but I also lived through the long days, difficult decisions, and moments of feeling completely overwhelmed by everything that comes with running a small business. Like many business owners, I also faced the challenges of COVID-19 and saw firsthand how quickly circumstances can change.

That journey inspired me to return to college and earn my degree in accounting with a specialization in taxation. Along the way, I gained experience in public accounting and later served as a Revenue Agent with the Internal Revenue Service, giving me a deeper understanding of both the tax system and the challenges taxpayers face.

I started Willow because I wanted to be the resource I wished I had when I was running my own business. I wanted a trusted expert who could answer questions, solve problems, and take some of the day-to-day responsibilities off my plate so I could focus on serving my customers.

Today, that's exactly what I strive to provide for every client.
